To commemorate the monumental occasion of the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence, the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT) is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by dedicating a week i.e. Startup Week from 20th September 2021 to 26th September 2021. This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in it’s evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Under this initiative, various knowledge and think tank sessions are being planned to showcase the potential of our startups entrepreneurs across the country. The DPIIT have been reaching out to all states across the country to organize Knowledge Session i.e. Startup Day in collaboration with the State Governments on the theme of “Showcasing India as a Rising Economic Force”. With this background, the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT) jointly with Startup Uttarakhand, Directorate of Industries, Government of Uttarakhand has scheduled Uttarakhand Startup Summit & Expo on 22nd September, 2021. The event will take place at Hotel Pacific, Dehradun. The key objective of the session is to discuss and deliberate on the startups ecosystem in the State and across the country. The key highlight of the event is as follows - Product Showcase - Technical / Knowledge Sessions - One on One Meetings with Startup founders/Investors
